Beverly Hills is famously known as one of the most luxurious, trendy and in-fashion spots not only in the United States but globally. Located in the heart of Beverly Hills, Rodeo Drive is the single most famous and expensive boulevard in the whole world – with some of the most acclaimed Fashion Houses having their boutiques there.
Giorgio Beverly Hills was the first high-end boutique opened by "the Father of Rodeo Drive", Fred Hayman in 1967. Aldo Gucci followed in 1968, Van Cleef & Arpels in 1969 and the Vidal Sassoon salon in 1970. More than 100 luxury boutiques, hotels and gourmet restaurants surround the district called "The Golden Triangle". Think of the finest high-end fashion pieces, shoes, accessories, handbags and jewelry – Rodeo Drive has everything a fashion lover ever dreamed of.
Chanel, Hermes, Cartier, Louis Vuitton, Jimmy Choo, Tiffany & Co, Dolce Gabbana, Christian Dior, Harry Winston, Versace and many more of the most acknowledged fashion houses in the world present collections exclusively for their Rodeo Drive boutiques.
The Beverly WIlshire – A Four Seasons Hotel which opened its doors in 1928 has been the preffered address for many Holywood and worldwide celebrities such as Warren Beaty, John Lennon and Elvis Presley. The hotel is also known as the "Pretty Woman" hotel, after the Julia Roberts and Richard Gere movie was filmed there. A few blocks away, the Beverly Hills Hotel or Pink Palace, competes in luxury and glamour with the Beverly WIlshire - a place I've saved for a next visit.
Swoon over the glamour and luxury of one of the most unique districts in the world and experience the lifestyle of the "rich and famous" even for one day.
