THE EXECUTIVE LOUNGE
A couple of weeks ago, I had the pleasure to travel to London and spend a few days at the exquisite Grosvenor House London, one of the most luxurious hotels in the city, located near Hyde Park. Besides all the luxurious amenities the hotel offers, I was delighted to enjoy my stay at the Premier Executive Suite along with several visits at the recently renovated Executive Lounge on the ground floor.
The Executive Lounge of the Grosvenor House London had me at hello - quite an achievement if you consider that I've been in many lounges around the world and I'm not that easy to please. Regardless of the fact that it was recently refurbished therefore everything is brand new, it is also perfectly organized to the smallest detail possible - and there's no reason not to love that. The Lounge offers a hot-and-cold dishes breakfast, snacks and finger food throughout the day and of course, an eclectic dinner menu with a wide variety of wine, drinks, juices and cups of afternoon tea.
The mouth-watering menu is wonderfully complimented by the Lounge's clean design: warm hues, wooden detailing and fine details across the room that really make a difference - like the illustrated books and silver airplane miniature models elegantly placed on the library shelves. The elegant leather armchairs, cozy sofas, working surfaces and meeting areas across the Lounge in addition to a separate, private lounge area serve a wide range of needs and preferences.

Its effortless style with sophisticated details all around the shelves and dining tables - even on the refrigerators - caught my eye and made me love it even more. Everything is so wonderfully and carefully placed you feel bad to even look at: mason jars in all shapes and sizes, rustic wooden bowls filled with dried fruits and nuts, homemade organic jams in perfect lines, cooking books on a separate recipe's shelf and a delicious-even-to-watch variety of cheese.
Plus, everything is available upon desire throughout the day. How cool?

Bernadette, Executive Lounge Manager along with Patricia, Guest Relations Manager made sure that my stay in the Lounge was an one-of-a-kind experience, as they do with each guest separately. In addition, they both assured the adaptation of the Lounge's menu to my AIP diet needs, making me feel extra special.
The overall luxurious and elegant style of the Grosvenor House was perfectly topped with excellent customer service - a small, yet important detail that always makes a difference.
