For the 2nd year in a row, the Yes I Do team in collaboration with New Life Expo Wedding held the very successful Bridal Catwalk – an impresive event that pleasantly surprised me last year, thanks to its excellent organization and execution. AND GUESS WHAT!
It was in November when Myrto Kazi – founder of the Yes I Do website, journalist, GirlBoss Mamma magnifique and above all an incredible human being - asked me to walk in this year's Yes I Do Catwalk, the answer was a huge YES. Of course.
How could I deny anything to Myrto?
This year's catwalk was dedicated to a philantropic cause, as both participants and guests were given the chance to become registered volunteer bone marrow donors in the units specially designed for this cause, while the attendants could also donate money to ORAMA ELPIDAS Association and the Bone Marrow Donor Registry by making a simple phone call.
An exceptional cause that encouraged me to say yes a million times.
ΤHE FITTING
I was lucky to be collaborating with Greek designer Alexia Kirmitsi.
We had a wonderful chemistry together – almost magical. I didn't have to try on dozens of wedding dresses. I just tried three until I came across the ONE. I fell for it instantly and walked down the catwalk wearing it. It was like a fairytale – like it was designed for me, destined for me to wear it! Though I was lucky to find the perfect dress without much searching, there was a plethora of other incredible designs awaiting their lucky brides to shine wearing them.
I certainly felt for all the brides-to-be out there in search of their dream dress- the anxiety of finding the perfect dress turning into pure excitement when finally walking down the isle wearing it.
A few Live Stories and Sneak Peeks after and we were all having a great time, taking photos and having fun like a team. And just like that – like the fun team we were – we showed up at the event venue the day of the show.
ΤHE BACKSTAGE & ΤHE CATWALK
The atmosphere behind the scenes was amazing. Hair (TEO), Makeup (MAC), shoes (MIGATO), jewelry (PANDORA) and countless INSTAGRAM STORIES from 58 bloggers , celebrities and journalists all at the same time did create the loudest bridal buzz of the year!
I could not forget mentioning the wonderful time we had with Souzana who totally stole the show at the Bridal Catwalk that day. Like the active vlogger she is, she filmed everything for her channel, Souzana's Beauty Secrets, where you'll have just a small taste of the crazy moments we had at the backstage of the show. Be sure to watch it to see details of our amazing hair and makeup too.

The Catwalk was a truly magical experience! It was double the excitement since I've never worn a wedding dress before!
I enjoyed it at its fullest - huge congratulations to the Yes I Do team for managing to organize and perfectly execute such a major event for the second year in a row!
