
The renowned aviation website Skytrax handed out the 2017 World Airport Awards for the fifth year in a row based on the impressions of 14 million travelers from 105 countries all over the world.
The World Airport Awards – the "Oscars of the aviation industry" - name the world's most prestigious airport facilities based on an annual airport customer satisfaction survey.
The evaluation includes a multitude of parameters such as the facility comfort, customer service and various skills e.g. the language skills of the airport staff.
The 10 best airports according to the 2017 World Airport Awards are the following:
#10. Frankfurt Airport
Frankfurt Airport is the fourth busiest airport in Europe with over 61 million yearly passengers. It is the base of Lufthansa's fleet and has been reviewed by many passengers for the abundance of shopping and dining services offered.
